The days leading to and including Easter are among the most powerful, provocative, and beautiful in the Christian liturgical tradition. Throughout the centuries, composers have created their most magnificent works specifically for this sacred time — music capable of bearing the full weight of suffering, hope, and transcendence.
This year, we invite you to experience Holy Week and Easter with your Emmanuel family. The Emmanuel Choir will offer poignant liturgies on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings — March 25, 26, and 27 — drawing on both ancient choral masterworks and newly commissioned music. The journey culminates in Easter Sunday's triumphant celebration, filled with the sound of majestic brass fanfares and voices raised in joy.
Come join us as we travel together from reflection to rejoicing. All are welcome.
