Three of the region's most celebrated chamber musicians unite for an evening of Romantic masterworks. Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Principal Cellist Dariusz Skoraczewski — praised by the Baltimore Sun for his "lush tone, expressive style and solid technique" — brings his BSO artistry to the chamber stage. Violinist Andrew Sords, hailed for pairing "maximum delicacy with fire and brilliance," has appeared with more than 300 orchestras across an international career. Pianist Michael Sheppard, a student of the legendary Leon Fleisher at Peabody, is "a virtuosic soloist possessed of power, sensitivity, earthiness, and humor." Together they perform monuments of the chamber repertoire: Felix Mendelssohn's epic Piano Trio in C Minor and favorite works of Johannes Brahms and Sergei Rachmaninoff.
